Ridinghood Sweater for Kakes

So this isn't my only project on the go, I usually have a few, but it's the one I'm going to write about as it's quite adventurous. I've not completed any knitting done in the round yet though this is the 3rd project I've started. I am however doing it as part of a knit-along on Cloth Nappy Tree so I hope having some support and company will spur me on to completing it.

I bought and downloaded the pattern about 4 days ago from Ravelry: I cast on later that day and making reasonable progress. The yarn I am using is from Luscious Little Somethings and is a summer surprise colourway I had created just for me as part of a co-op order arranged through CNT.

As of this evening I have finished the increases to the shoulders so am about to place the shoulder stitches on to holders. So far the pattern is easy, but then with 26 years knitting experience there's not much I'm unwilling to tackle. For me the issue is time with a family and home to look after. I do however need to allow the creative side of me to come out a bit more. With this in mind I want to find some time each day to do some part of my projects.
